Summer Dragonfly Wall Hanging Kit

 This kit contains everything you need (except thread) to complete this project, including beautiful hand dyed fabric from Starr Design Fabrics, batik fabrics, fusible fleece (instead of batting), fusible web, beads for the eyes, and even backing fabric! Having all this in the kit saves you time and money. Less running around to get supplies means you can get right to sewing. There is no curved piecing. The free motion stitching does add a lot to the finished quilt, but it is not necessary. The decorative stitches also add a lot, but it can be done without those as well. The three batik fabrics may vary from the photo, but will have the same overall look. It's a fairly quick and very fun project! For thread, I used yellow, gold, a dark and a light purple. A regular school glue stick is very helpful also, the purple kind is fine.
